Making a Will
For many of us, making a Will is something we know we should do but never quite get around to. Of course, it’s important not to put it off and making a Will could be much quicker and easier than you think.
Our Lawyers and staff have a wealth of experience in creating Wills and make the process fast, straightforward, and hassle-free. Once in place, you’ll be able to relax knowing that you’ve planned for whatever the future, may bring. We can also store your Will safely free of charge protecting it from loss or damage.
With expert knowledge in all areas of wills, our friendly Lawyers will create a Will that’s right for you and your family. They’ll put you at ease and explain everything using plain English.
With almost two-thirds of adults in the UK not having a Will, you must get it right. For Example:
If you are not married or in a civil partnership your relationship, no matter how many years you have been together, will not be recognised and your loved one could be left without anything, including a home. If you are part of a broken marriage, without planning, your spouse may still inherit from your estate, regardless of the years, you have been separated. Or in a second marriage, which may mean your family from the first marriage may not get all that you or they expected. Act now to ensure your estate passes to the right people.
Complex Wills
Complex Wills may be beneficial to you if you require a more in-depth distribution of your estate to include things like Trusts, Estate Planning, IHT (Inheritance Tax). They are useful for those who have large estates and/ or who have a lot of beneficiaries.
Complex Wills can cover the following and more:
- If you own a business(s) who will take control of these upon your death.
- If you have any stock, who will get these.
- If you have children from multiple marriages, how the Will, will be split between them.
- How any disabled children will be cared for.
- Details of any gifts you wish to leave.
If you are unsure if you would require a Complex Will or whether one of our other Wills would suffice, contact our team.
Complex Wills will be priced on application following a meeting and any charges will be discussed prior to work being carried out.
