Katy Harris

I first joined Jordans in 2022 as a Paralegal within the Litigation Department. SI was then offered a Training Contract with the firm and in 2026 was proud to qualify as a Solicitor .

I currently focus on defending clients who are facing criminal charges, both in the Magistrates and the Crown Court. I also supervise the   the Prison Law department, helping client’s appeal their recall and providing advice and assistance in respect of their parole reviews .  In addition to the above, I manage my own handful of cases, assisting and advising those wishing to appeal their conviction or sentence.

I focus on criminal law and aim to continue to specialise in criminal defence obtaining all relevant qualifications , as a Prison Law Solicitor I have undertaken rigorous training and assessment to ensure I provide the highest standards in my representation .

When I am not at work, I enjoy visiting my family in my hometown and reading a good book.
