Prisons seek to maintain prison discipline by bringing discipline charges against those in custody and if you are facing a charge either before an independent adjudicator ( A District Judge ) or before a Prison Governor we can help .

Full legal aid is available for Independent Adjudications and if facing a charge it  is vital to get the information to us as soon as possible as we often need to act very quickly

We can advise on your plea , whether to seek an adjournment and in certain cases about the need for forensic tests . We will then represent you in respect of your hearing both for denied matters and guilty pleas .

For Prison  Governor adjudications legal aid isn't generally available but we can offer some initial advice and if you are one of our existing parole or recall clients we offer a complementary service offering you pro bono support .
