The High Court has ruled in favour of a widow who was married to her deceased husband for 66 years . The deceased husband left everything to their two sons wished to leave his estate solely down the male line . Mr Justice Peel concluded there had clearly been no reasonable provision for the wife .
The case clearly shows that it is not possible to simply cut someone out of a will particularly where a spouse has made a significant contribution during their marriage .
Jordans Solicitors have a team ready and waiting to assist our Clients in challenging wills which fail to make such provision or cases where there is evidence of undue influence or incapacity .
